 VCI secures Redskin Cheerleaders for Royal Bangalore Challengers
April, 2008 - In one of the most challenging assignments, VCI was contacted by long time partner, Venkat Vardhan (dnanetworks.com) to procure an NFL cheerleadong squad to perform as cheerleaders for the first time in India's history as part of the launch of the new 20/20 cricket league in April 2008. VCI signed and accompanied the cheeleaders to India, where their debut on April 10th as the Bangalore Royal Challengers generated worldwide front page press attention-New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Sports Illustrated, ESPN The Magazine (Google Redskin Cheerleaders in India). So successful was the campaign, that the cheerleaders, who originally were scheduled to return on April 28th, remained for the whole season. The Bangalore Royal Challengers cheerleading outfit is now on display at the NFL Pro Football Hall of Fame.
 Yanni - Book, Television, PR
VCI conducted many campaigns from 1993-2004 for Yanni Inc, many outlined in the New York Times Best Selling Book, Yanni in Words (2003, Miramax), a deal with VCI made with agent Bob Barnett. VCI also secured a CBS Sunday Morning feature with Rita Braver, music publishing deals with CBS Sports and NBC Sports for exclusive use of Yanni music for PGA and USGA televised golf events, performance of the national anthem at Game 5 of the 2003 World Series on Fox, Yankees at Marlins, and created book signing campaign in conjunction with 2003 tour for Yanni in Words. VCI also produced and directed a Houston Salute, securing Yanni's performance for the Opening Ceremonies of the 2004 Super Bowl.
 Greece - Secrets of the Past (IMAX Movie)
VCI has signed with MacGillvery Films, the leading producer of IMAX films, to sell and market the 2006 release of "Greece- Secrets of the Past." Harrison Smith, Vice President of Development said. "We are pleased to have George Veras as part of our efforts. His experience in producing Yanni, Greek-American documentaries for PBS, as well as his marketing for 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding', makes him a perfect fit to bring this movie to market".  Running with Pheidippides: The Story of Stylianos Kyriakides
VCI has signed a continued option on the book through 2006, it was announced in June 2004. VCI has also engaged 35 year veteran Lou Pitt, formerly of ICM, to work with writers in developing a script and obtaining studio deal for the movie, targeting filming in 2006, with a release in 2006.  My Big Fat Greek Wedding
In early April, 2002, VCI was sent the movie trailer and asked to market this movie to the American mainstream community through the Greek-American audience. Within the next month, VCI and Trinity Family Services staged over fourteen movie premieres in North American cities, and saturated all Greek-American organizations with fliers, poster, and trailers, creating the groundswell that was the basis for the highest grossing independent movie of all-time.
