Veras Produces Music Video for Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns are bringing back the 1946 Browns Fight song
"Hi-O Hi-O for Cleveland" in a music video that was filmed at the Cleveland Institute of Music on August 9th, with the Cleveland Pops Orchestra, led by maestro Carl Topilow, accompanied by 40 musicians, singers who performed four different arrangements by Paul Ferguson - instrumental, choral, rock and jazz. The Cleveland Browns filmed the performance with four cameras and will edit many versions of the ninety second piece. Audio producers Alan Bise and Bruce Ehre recorded audio and mixed audio with 26 microphones. The video will debut at Cleveland Browns Stadium in September and air on all local Browns media outlets and become the official fight song for the team.

The original version was commissioned in 1946 by Owner-head coach Paul Brown, who turned to Massillion High School Band Director George T. Bird to write and orchestra the fight song. The Browns brought back the original recording at last year's creation of their "Ring of Honor" and the fans reacted so positively, that the Browns obtained the rights to the song and commissioned George Veras to engage the Cleveland Pops and produce the recording sessions.
